Safety Scope

Who Nutrinaut Tools is designed for, its exclusions and when to seek professional or urgent help.

Educational planning for adults 18+

Nutrinaut Tools is designed for generally healthy adults in recreational nutrition, training and household-planning contexts. Outputs are estimates, ranges or simple arithmetic. They do not diagnose, treat, assess disease risk or replace individual care.

Use professional guidance instead

  • Minors; pregnancy or breastfeeding unless a page provides only a clearly labelled population reference.
  • Eating-disorder treatment or recovery, post-bariatric care or medically prescribed diets.
  • Kidney, liver, cardiovascular, endocrine, metabolic or gastrointestinal conditions affected by the input.
  • Medication interactions, elite/high-volume sport, heat illness or competition-specific plans.
  • Supplement dosing, electrolyte prescriptions, body-fat diagnosis or acute readiness scoring.

Food and training responsibility

You remain responsible for allergies, intolerances, ingredient labels, food hygiene, medication interactions, competition rules and whether an activity is appropriate. A grocery list cannot guarantee allergen safety or nutritional completeness.

Do not use a calculator for triage

Concerning symptoms or suspected exposure to pure or highly concentrated caffeine require prompt local medical or poison-service advice. If severe sleepiness affects driving or machinery, stop the activity. Contact your local emergency service when symptoms are urgent.

When a routine question needs assessment

Persistent insomnia, loud snoring or gasping, severe daytime sleepiness, unexplained weight change, recurrent gastrointestinal symptoms or difficulty eating enough deserve discussion with a qualified clinician. A correct calculation does not rule out a health problem.
